Ferry tools: ferry_status (today, per route and operator), next_ferries (route, direction, after HH:MM), plan_island_day (up to three islands, minutes on each, earliest start), ferry_cancellation_history (per route since 7 November 2026) and list_routes. Trip tools: which_island (ranks the six islands for your time, interests, month, children and sea), island_guide (a recommended day on one island) and best_time (month by month: weather normals, typhoons, jellyfish, holiday peaks, festivals). All tools are read-only and need no personal data. Every answer repeats that the operators' pages are the authority.

Where the data comes from
Times are transcribed from the operators' published timetables (Anei Kanko PDF valid to 2027-03-31, YKF PDF valid to 2027-02-28) and checked against the live YKF site and the Anei PDF before every publish; see how the data is checked. Status comes from Anei's and YKF's status pages. The cancellation record starts on 7 November 2026 and is read every 20 minutes between 06:00 and 20:00 Japan time.
