Ishigaki ferry timetable: all Yaeyama routes

Two companies run scheduled high-speed boats from Ishigaki Port's island terminal: Anei Kanko and Yaeyama Kanko Ferry (YKF). Most islands are served by both; Hateruma by Anei only.

First boat: earliest scheduled departure from Ishigaki. Last back: latest scheduled departure from the island. Both exclude backup sailings that run only when another route is cancelled.

Which operator?

Adult fares are the same at both for every shared route. The difference is the times: YKF has more departures to Taketomi (10 a day each way, against 8 out and 9 back for Anei) and Anei is the only operator to Hateruma. YKF tickets are open, so you pick the sailing at the port; Anei sells web tickets that skip the counter.

Each operator's tickets work only on its own boats; the shared ticket ended on 30 September 2020 (Anei Q&A, YKF Q&A). If you buy a return, come back with the same company.

A third company, Ishigaki Dream Tours, sells package tours and publishes no scheduled timetable, so it is not in the tables.

Plan around the weather

Both operators say Uehara and Hatoma run on open sea and are cancelled more often, and Anei says the same of Hateruma. Taketomi, Kohama, Kuroshima and Ohara are sheltered by islands and reefs (YKF). Details on rough sea and typhoons.

Getting to the terminal

From the airport the bus takes about half an hour and costs 550 yen. See airport to ferry terminal.
