Island-hopping planner for the Yaeyama islands

Pick up to three islands for one day. The planner picks the earliest published boats that work, using the longest crossing time each operator prints, and tells you when it cannot be done.

How it works

• There is almost no boat between islands: you return to Ishigaki in between. The exceptions are Anei's 14:00 Ohara sailing, which calls at Taketomi, and the Uehara to Hatoma leg. The planner does not use them.
• It adds 30 minutes at Ishigaki between boats, the connection time Anei asks passengers to allow. Tickets work only on the operator that sold them.
• Crossing times are the longest printed at each operator. For Hateruma it uses 100 minutes (Anei's large boat); for YKF sailings via Hatoma or Uehara, 80 minutes.
• It ignores backup sailings that run only when another route is cancelled. Check today's status on the rough sea page.
